Procurement Project Consultant

Procurement Project Consultant x 4, London, £450 - £500 per day - dependent on experience.

A leading organisation that operates across several emerging markets and has close ties to the Public Sector is looking to build a team of interim Procurement Consultants to oversee a large scale cost down project in the IT category. The roles will be based out of their Central London office and will initially be 6 month contracts with the option of extending for a further 6 months should the project require.

These roles require experienced Procurement professionals who have operated at Consultant level previously. Candidates will be expected to display significant experience dealing with complex stakeholder relationships and politically sensitive issues. Previous experience in major cost down project work is a pre requisite, as is the ability to strategically manage multifaceted supplier relationships.

Candidates with experience in any of; Central Government, Local Authority, Financial Services, Management Consultancy or Legal industries will be at a significant advantage. A good understanding of OJEU regulations is also desirable. Successful candidates will be required to apply for Disclosure Scotland security clearance meaning that there will be a delay between offers and start date of approximately 2 weeks.
