PROCUREMENT PROCESS ANALYST with PUBLIC SECTOR PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT with PUBLIC SECTOR organisation in GLASGOW.

Duties will include:

- Project planning and implementation to support policy objectives
- Plan and manage the development and delivery of systems, guidance, training and services to improve procurement capability and support the delivery of commercial policy objectives across the Scottish public sector
- Update the web based procurement journey with latest guidance, compiling and analysing the procurement capability scoresheets for end of January and develop other learning materials on procurement capability
- Support the delivery of appropriate business change management programmes across Scottish public sector organisations
- Build and develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Essential skills:

- Experience of public sector procurement
- Experience of managing change and continuous improvement, dealing with resistance and conflict in a constructive way
- Ability to proactively research a wide range of procurement best practice topics
- Proven expertise of analysing MI and reports to establish root cause of issues and providing recommendations to address issues

Desirable skills:

- MCIPS
- Experience in providing training and coaching a wide range of staff
