Procurement Portfolio Specialist

Harvey Nash's Public Sector client requires a Procurement Portfolio Specialist to join their central Scotland based team on an initial 3 month contract. You will be working within the Procurement and Commercial division of the organisation, joining the existing team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Main Duties:

. Procurement and supplier management
. Advise on legal, policy and other procurement related requirements
. Lead and support the development, planning and implementation of procurement strategy
. Forming User Groups where required
. Implementing innovative procurement strategies

Essential Skills:

. Previous experience in a Procurement position
. Public Sector procurement experience
. Skills in leading and project planning
. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
. Project Management, Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge and experience.

It would also be highly desirable to have membership to a relevant professional body such as MCIPS.

This position is available on an initial 3 month contract. Interviews are available at short notice, with a start date to follow ASAP thereafter.
