The Job:
Morson International is actively seeking to recruit a Procurement Officer for a contract role with one of our high profile Clients based in Plymouth

Experience:
* Experience of delivering a high level procurement service, managing stakeholders' expectations, and responding positively to emerging/challenging situations.
* Experience of developing procurement strategies for significant contracts, managing supplier relationships, and the supply chain in the ICT Category.
* Experience of delivering auditable savings results (both cashable and non-cashable) through the supply chain and contract management.
* PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management qualification.
* Hold or be working towards a professional qualification in purchasing & supply at CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) equivalent.
* Ability to evaluate tenders under agreed evaluation models and provide positive de-briefs that encourages suppliers to improve competitive performance.
