Procurement Officer - ICT Installation & Logistics - Federal Governmen

One of ACT's high profile Federal Government departments is seeking an experienced PROCUREMENT OFFICER to join their team for a long term contract. The succuessful candidate will be actioning requests for installation of ICT hardware in partner agencies, parliamentary offices and departmental domestic sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Liaise and communicate with IT stakeholders, business units and service providers to ensure a good working relationship is established to achieve business outcomes related to partner agency ICT installation projects.
- Identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Draft documentation including project, contract variations, formal advices, agendas and minutes.
- Assist with improvement activities across the program including identification and development of new processes.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

- Proven Federal Government experience
- Basic infrastructure installation knowledge and sound interpersonal skills with other areas of government.
- Knowledge of procurement work streams and basic skills in small ICT installation tasks.
- Provide assistance on developing documentation and processes to carry out activities that support the sourcing of infrastructure hardware and equipment to achieve ICT installation and refresh activities.
