Procurement Manager - top Pharma - Contract

My client, one of the fastest growing healthcare companies in Europe, is looking for a Procurement Manager to join them in Switzerland for an initial 6 month contract to support their growing business needs. You will have an opportunity to participate in strategic supplier planning, category development and participating in major business process improvement which will provide you with solid experience portfolio for your future career development within healthcare industry.

You role will involve developing business capabilities for major spend categories and key business processes. You will keep up with supply market trends, supplier economics, and best sourcing practise to ensure the purchases made by the company are high quality yet cost effective. You will assist the business with material and process selection for purchases, with locating and selecting relevant suppliers, price negotiation to develop and improve large spend category strategies.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have 1-3 years of Procurement/Sourcing and 1-3 years of Materials/Supply Chain experience within healthcare industry. You will have Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, MBA or similar education and ideally will have APICS or CPM qualifications. You will be an excellent negotiators and will be able to influence others easily; you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to collaborate with other team members effectively. You will be fluent in German and English languages.
