My client based in Antwerp is now looking for a procurement manager for a 3 month rolling contract. Overall length expected to be 6 - 12 months.
Rate: €65 an hour
Location: Antwerp
Duration: 3 months rolling
Job description
You are responsible for the Procurement of on-board products and services. The main focus of your task will be on the procurement of Sub-contracted activities mainly in the frame of ESA projects. Together with the internal Customer, the Project Manager, you decide on and contractually negotiate with the right subcontractor fulfilling the requirements of a specific sub-system.
Job experience
For this position, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager, preferably with knowledge on how the procurement of subcontractors in an ESA context is implemented using the ESA Best Practices process.
Job competences
You have the necessary negotiation skills. Having a technical background allowing to think on technical level with our engineers is more a need-to-have than a nice-to-have. You have or willing to build up knowledge concerning the products and services of available solutions with respect to our Space Flight projects and products.
