The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement of Childrens and Young People, Adults and Communities, and Public Health.
We are looking for someone with experience of Social Care or Public Health procurement. You will be responsible for working with senior commissioners and bringing new commercial ideas to the department, to help the council achieve their savings targets. You will also be responsible for helping to lead a procurement team which consists of 4 commercial specialists.Experience of transformation and service redesign will be beneficial.
The assignment will initially be for 6 months, and there may be opportunities to extend beyond this.
