PROCUREMENT MANAGER

For one of our clients we are currently looking for a highly skilled Procurement Manager to be based in Riyadh, KSA.

Job description:

To act as the primary interface from a Procurement perspective for System Integration activities on Equipment & Services related to & necessary for a successful Network Deployment.

Prime Categories of Spend include:

* Civil/Infrastructure Works & Equipment (examples 'only' may include: Telecom Site Acquisition Services, Civil Works inc, Site Preparation, Tower Foundation works, Tower Erection, Fencing, Equipment Shelters, Antenna structures, Generators etc)

* Telecom Equipment Installation & Commissioning Services

* Site Equipment such as Ancillaries, Microwave etc

* OEM Hardware & Software

Prime categories of spend of Indirect Procurement:

* Facilities

* HR & Rewards

* Telecom

* Marketing

* Travel & Fleet

* Contract labor

Ensure Procurement is considered a strategic partner in responding to Internal customers by partnering with them

Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned geographical requirements, potential supply base, internal clients & customer requirements

Work closely primarily with go-to-market (pre-award) & Project (post award) Teams to ensure a unified Procurement value-add and delivery strategy.

Working closely with Engineering, Account Leads, Project Management Office to ensure project & technical requirements translate to clear scopes of Work/Specifications against which tenders can be issued and like for like evaluations completed considering Commercial, Technical & Deployment Capability requirements.

Working closely with functional leads to ensure efficient spending and compliance to Procurement governance processes and policies

Execute timely and total cost of ownership driven sourcing responses.

Identify existing sources of goods and services (including across Countries, Regions & Sectors),

Identify commonalities, and recommend supplier consolidation and cost reduction actions - including working with Procurementgaining buy-in from Project Team & execute on plan and meet/exceed the goal.

Working with Legal & Contracts personnel to ensure Contracts are in place prior to execution of procured Equipment Supply & Services.

Execute any 'cost claim' issues with suppliers, ensuring an equitable value achieved for deficiencies against contract by the supplier.

Working with other Internal Function (eg, Finance, Logistics, Project Management) to facilitate the successful execution of the "Purchase to Pay" cycle to ensure Internal Controls are met and Suppliers are paid in accordance with the agreed terms. Investigate & escalate late payment issues with the appropriate internal teams.

Using Motorola's eProcurement applications, review & approve Purchase Requisitions, contracts, supplier set up etc

Monitor & Report on Projected P&L Spend versus actual executed spend
