Procurement Manager - IT - Gazprom Energy

Responsible for forming a commercial function that provides Sourcing, Procurement and Commercial Support across diverse category areas, the successful applicant will deliver commercial sourcing and supplier management support across predominantly technology projects. Reporting to the Head of IT, the role requires close working with other senior managers and stakeholders as well as more junior IT staff. Taking the lead from the existing group level procurement department you will utilise, standardise and help enhance existing procedures and processes, building them into the Gazprom Energy business across multiple operations and programmes of work in UK and across Europe.

Demonstrable experience of leading commercial and legal negotiations
Demonstrable experience of supplier performance management
SAP SRM experience
Proven track record of stakeholder management
Demonstrable experience of achieving cost savings through procurement activity and the delivery of sustainable benefits
Experience of creating, implementing and running category plans
Strong experience in IT procurement, in particular services related to IT software development, systems integration and associated support requirements including SLAs Experience of working with and negotiating contracts with Systems Integrators, IT Consultancies and IT Software providers

Education
CIPS qualified or similar certification by a similar purchasing and supply chain professional body preferred, but not essential.
