My client, a state of the art medical facility is looking for a Procurement Management Professional to join their team on a initial 2 year Fixed Term Contract.
The Procurement manager will be responsible for leading the operational procurement aspects and ensuring smooth operations of the goods & services procurement section.
Responsibilities:
*Supervise senior buyer's and buyers.
*Manages good and service procurement section
*Interfaces on regular basis with other procurement sections to ensure timely exchange of information and to avoid unnecessary delays in the procurement process
*Ensure that procurement transaction are processes in the best interest of the company using best value for money principle
*Ensure compliance with departmental ad hospital-wide policies and procedures.
Experience Required:
*Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or other related field
*5+ years of Procurement experience in Healthcare setting
*2+ years experience in supervisory role
*Work experience in a well developed computerised ERP environment
