Procurement Manager - GCB 6

My client, a market leading global financial services insitution is looking for a Procurement Transformation specialist to join their team on 6 month rolling contract. This role is a great opportunity for a junior Buyer to gain experience in a well known organisation.

Prior procurement experience required. Marketing specific procurement experience highly desirable.

THE ROLE:

To provide local Procurement Operations the necessary support on transformation projects/initiatives, collect requirements, assist implementations and change management and making sure all transformation projects are properly documented.

The role holder will work closely with their Functional Line Manager(s) to ensure local compliance to global standards while providing local requirements during process changes.

Contribute to the achievement of the overall Procurement strategy by providing support to the Category teams on all aspects of the Category and Commodity strategy.
Ensure seamless supply of goods and services to Group entities
Actively supports the management of all aspects of the supplier life cycle through strategy, business engagement, tender, negotiation and contract management, ensuring the best interests are served in managing the Group's Agreements.
Provides support for the Category Team on commercial analysis, negotiations and vendor life cycle management and will also lead in these areas as required with the support and guidance of the Category/Commodity Manager Sthree UK is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
