ROLE: PROCUREMENT CATEGORY MANAGER (ENVIRONMENT & REGENERATION)

LOCATION: LUTON

DURATION: 6 MONTHS

RATE: £350 PER DAY

Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a Procurement Category Expert in Environment and Regeneration for a 6 month initial contract.

THE JOB:

Our client is seeking experienced Procurement Managers with experience of local Environment and Regeneration services within the public sector. The successful applicant will be able to analyse contracts and spend data to identify areas within the category that can be streamlined and Identify savings opportunities.

In addition to this, the category manager will be required to drive strategy across Regeneration Procurement and plan projects/resources to help achieve wider strategic sourcing goals across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills and will be required to liaise with key suppliers to partake in critical negotiations and deal with senior stakeholders in order to achieve buy-in from the wider organisation.
