Procurement Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

- Be responsible for the Spend & Demand Analysis and Sourcing Strategy Development activities
- Be responsible for the re-negotiation of current contracts to new terms for 2016 and related contract activities (either placement of the new General Relationship Agreement (GRA) or contract amendments
- Support, manage, and administer existing contracts and ensure that the vendors comply the contractual obligations in terms of KPIs, SLA warranties and reporting
- Focal point for vendor escalations with regards to delivery, performance and support.
- Conduct vendor risk and credit checks
- Drafting, negotiating and administrating Statements of Work for professional services
- Liaison between corporate suppliers and affiliate procurement teams for issues & escalations.
- Ensure creation of Category Strategy Documents (CSD) for the Category and/or Commodities within it. Creation of the CSD will be performed in conjunction with relevant stakeholders from around the business. Execution of the action plan resulting from a CSD creation lies with the Category Lead
- Ensure proper contracting for new and updated contracts and proper contract management for current contracts for global spend and support the contract management activities for the local spend.

JOB DEMANDS PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

- Academic background (minimum Bachelor): preferably in business administration or finance/procurement
- 5 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/relevant Business
- Experience within the Video domain and/or with SeaChange
- Preferably experience working in a (team) leadership/management position
- Preferably experience in an international/multi-country/Matrix environment
- Relates effectively to people at all levels of the organization and with the Supply base
- Knows when to push for a solution and how to win people's commitment
- Able to articulate, advocate and work effectively at a senior level to build relationships, develop support, and advance the activities within the company
- Able to liaise effectively with executive vendor management and have contract negotiation skills covering complex agreements
