Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Procurement Manager to work at a leading public sector client based in Northumberland on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be working in a senior, specialist position within the Procurement Services Team that provides a bespoke procurement service to the client.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of Procurement project staff (internal and interim staff)
- Management of third party Legal and Insurance Advisors
- Managing procurement processes and providing expert skills in support of contract negotiations
- Invitation to Tender Negotiation (ITN) phase planning and delivery
- Management of ITN bidder negotiations
- Input to relevant PMO and Procurement reporting
- Procurement OJEU competition management
Experience required:
- Strong procurement or contracts management experience, ideally gained within the public sector or healthcare clients
- Experience as an accomplished negotiator and an effective communicator at all levels
- Knowledge of OJEU tendering processes
- Knowledge of relevant public sector contracts legislation
- Industry certifications or those such as Prince2 or MCIPS would be desirable
