Our client, a leading Government organisation is seeking a Procurment Manager on a contract basis.

This is a contract role paying £290 Ltd per day Ltd on a 6 month contract initially + potential 4 months extension

Description:
This post has arisen through Ministerial priorities surrounding the establishment of a Non Domestic Energy Efficiency Framework.

The role of a senior portfolio specialist requires supporting, planning and leading significant procurement projects and best practice delivery. Fully understands when and how to negotiate and has good experience of successfully conducting negotiations. Understands issues and benefits of collaboration and may at times play key role in delivery including best practice initiatives. Supports the development of complex specifications and can support and lead EU public procurement projects including leading tender evaluation of complex requirements. Effectively manages debriefing of suppliers liaising with legal advisers where necessary.
