PROCUREMENT LEAD - FINANCIAL SERVICES - DUBLIN - €700PD
We have a requirement for a Procurement Lead to join a banking client based in Dublin, Ireland. This is a contract role for 3 months.
The successful candidate will be working within a Strategic Sourcing function from their head office in Dublin. Your main responsibility will be to take a lead with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
You will lead procurement initiatives and set strategies. With an impressive track record of driving change and continuous development throughout the procurement function, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the function onto the next stage of their journey.
This senior position is responsible for a small team of procurement professionals whose role is to lead the sourcing activity across the organisation. This function will undertake all aspects of the procurement process from requirement through to contract award. Ensuring that contract management aspects are addressed in conjunction with the commercial manager and contributing to specific Supplier Management Plans.
Candidates need to come from a Financial Services background, ideally banking and need to be based in Dublin 5 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of 3
- Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management
- Responsible for sourcing activity
- Utilises e tools eg e tenders, e auctions to increase efficiency and streamline the procurement process
- Undertakes a range activities to deliver robust market intelligence
- Skilled negotiator
RATE: €700 per day
START: Early January 2015
DURATION: 3 months
LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
