Procurement Lead - Card Payments

My client, a large Transportation Organisation requires an Interim Procurement Lead to assist in the delivery of a commercial solution for an EMV programme.

As Procurement Lead you will. need to take a very strategic view on the requirements and deliver a level of governance which will be implemented assess all tenders in respect to services or solutions suitable to this type of programme, which is also a very strategic programme for the industry; agree and assign all contracts and provide the day to day support to the team to ensure all deliverables are meet. The assignment will have a number of political challenges so requires someone who is able to face off to stakeholders when necessary and make the decisions based on what will be the commercially best decision. The role will require liaising with the Transport providers, the Solutions Providers, internal and external stakeholders and other third parties.

I would like to speak to Senior Procurement Professionals who have a background in Transport Ticketing solutions or from a Retail Card Payments background. You will need to have a strong understanding of different industries within similar sectors and demonstrable experience in the full procurement process. Ideally you will be degree educated and perhaps with a CIPS qualification.

The initial contract is expected to be 2-3 months.
