Bristol with travel to London and Swansea plus occasional other locations
£364 per day

An experience Public Sector Procurement Lead is required who knows and understands group operating models and target operating models for procurement as well as the pan Government standard approach. Ideally you will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply and have some experience in Transport either in Central Government or a local authority, Department for Transport experience would be highly desirable. An awareness of the wider Government procurement agenda is required along with a knowledge of public sector procurement regulations along with the ability to influence, define and develop strategic procurement policies and procurement procedures and processes. An understanding of E-procurement principles and practices is highly desirable, along with presentational and workshop facilitation skills are highly desirable. A willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays along with a driving licence is essential (access to a pool vehicle will be available as necessary)
