Procurement Generalist, Contract, Pharmaceutical, Switzerland

For our large multinational SWISS PHARMACEUTICAL CLIENT, we are currently searching for a PROCUREMENT GENERALISTto work in BASEL, Switzerland to provide high value procurement solutions and category strategies; support third party vendor selection, vendor development and performance measurement activities. The Procurement Generalist will plan and lead the category of Drug Supply Management within Technical R&D Procurement on a global level and across all Business divisions of our client.

Please see below for requirements of the role:

- Broad TECHNICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL DEVELOPMENT understanding and experience of at least 3 years
- Business experience in PURCHASING/SOURCING or business development for at least 3 to 5 years
- University degree or equivalent (eg BS or BA) in a relevant technical/scientific field (preferred) or in business. Preferably business/procurement training (MBA, CIPS, etc.)
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in purchasing
- Experience in Drug supply management
- Proven ability in PROJECT MANAGEMENT, continuous improvement and leading complex projects, delivering results through a cross-functional team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with successful presentation capabilities and negotiation skills
- Excellent team work in a multidisciplinary environment with strong customer focus
- ENGLISH IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
