Procurement Expeditor Job

PROCUREMENT EXPEDITOR needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in ROCHESTER, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum of at least two (2+) years procurement experience
- Negotiate delivery and service
- Strong computer application skills - MRP (Oracle, SAP) and Agile (configuration mgmt)
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills
- Strong follow-up skills are necessary
- Customer service skills and the ability to be very effective in a fast paced environment
- Good judgment and prioritization skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Expeditor on the execution purchasing team responsible for supporting the day-to-day material requirements of the Mfg operations (focus factories)
- Responsible for tactical maintenance of all procurement systems ie, expediting, de-expediting, purchase order maintenance, Rejection and Disposition Notification, Revision Change Notification, etc
- The candidate will primarily work with Suppliers and the Planning teams
- This position will require someone that is adept at operating in an environment that is constantly changing and is often not clearly defined
