Job Purpose

The role exits due to the current person will be leaving to go on maternity leave.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team within our clients MAI Aircraft Maintenance and Support (A&M&S) Function. The A&MS function works closely with the Customer to provide Aircraft maintenance world-wide and is the fastest growing function within MAI. The Commercial and Procurement team help negotiate and manage the appropriate contracts within the function. The recent business case has been cleared in 2014 for £40.3 million investment.
This is an opportunity for an individual who is willing to learn, gain Procurement knowledge particularly Supplier Management and gain exposure to Senior Leaders within the business, whilst supported by a Senior Procurement Manager. The role will involve working multi-functionally across all platforms.

It covers a broad range of Procurement support:
- Supplier management of the £20 million New A&MS Academy that is being built at Humberside Airport.
- Project Management of the CESST training asset that will be delivered to RAF Conningsby.
- Under the Regulation the Procurement capability needs to be defined within the Continuous Airworthiness environment. A Key aspect will be to capture in-service data within the UK and Overseas through discussion with on-base teams and investigation how this can be transposed to the Supply base.
- Involvement in writing processes and procedures and Procurement Exposition around this activity

The successful person will be able to build on the work that has already been done and gain a broad understanding of the In-service world.

Deliver the Supplier Management activity of the new AMA Academy at Humberside Airport.
Project Management the CESST Commercial and Procurement activities
Support the Procurement Manager to develop the Procurement Capability In-service reliability data.
