Description
Responsible for procurement, delivery, coordination of receipt and installation of
equipment and furniture for all DCA funded Expansion and Plant Renovation (PM&R)
Projects.

Essential Functions:
Serves as single point of contact with overall accountability for all procurement
activity, delivery, coordination of receipt and installation activities, building commission
and the tracking and status communication of all equipment and furniture for Capital,
Expansion and PM develops move in plans with department
managers; attends construction meetings; communicates salient issues to appropriate
team members.
Resolves furniture and equipment specification issues; provides feedback to
equipment planners, interior designers, quality assurance and CSA customers.
Monitors reports on overall performance of vendors to equipment planners, interior
designers, CSA and quality assurance.
Identifies products for potential contracting opportunities for the National Purchasing Organization.
Organizes procurement for phased projects to ensure ontime delivery with the least storage time.
Resolves overages, shortages, lost and damaged shipments, and credit holds.
Ensures all receiving paperwork is processed for payment.
Arranges for transportation, storage, and moving services for the project.
Establishes security procedures and assures secured space is available for equipment and furniture.
Coordinates the installation of imaging equipment, interior signage, artwork, plants and seismic anchorage.
Perform other duties as required.

Secondary Functions:
Project Buyer, processes capital and project equipment requisitions.

Work Environment: Open Cubicle Space, within office section of our Chino Warehouse
Scope of the project: Process Purchase Orders, Expediting, other basic Purchase Order processing functions
