Procurement Consultant (Training and Development)

BPSS/SC cleared Procurement Consultant, South West, 550-650 per day.

A department of Central Government with a burgeoning reputation in the procurement field is looking to add an experience Procurement Consultant to their team on an initial 6 month basis to scope and deliver a group wide training and development programme to the procurement department. The team is currently made up of circa 50% new starters (last 6 months) and the organisation are keen to ensure that technical expertise is high so that service levels are maintained. Candidates must have extensive Procurement experience and also have experience in the scoping of and delivery of training material in a complex, multi faceted environment.

The role can be broken down into three distinct phases

Phase one will be to scope the training required through consultation with both internal and external stakeholders, Operating Center heads etc

Phase two will be to develop the actual training material and plan.

Phase three will be to deliver this training

As an overall output, knowledge transfer is essential so that the organisation can continue growing and conduct the training internally going forward.
