Procurement Consultant

My retail client are looking for a vastly experienced Procurement Consultant for a 3 month contract based In Bradford.

The ideal candidate will be well skilled in the below:

Sourcing Capability
Manage the implementation of the agreed sourcing strategy for the relevant IT area, from inception, through requirements development, RFP, Supplier selection, contract negotiation.
Deliver robust plans and ensure timely execution through clear milestones and regular monitoring of progress against deliverables.

Preferred Business Skills
Ability to engage with IT Senior Management, IT colleagues, and wider business colleagues.
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams.
Ability to negotiate and challenge at all levels.

Sourcing Category Experience
Ideally ITO or if not BPO category experience
Experience with complex IT contracts - able to deal with complex tender documentation, contracts, service level agreements and commercial agreements that minimise risk to the company.
Strong working knowledge of creating and managing large scale contracts, particularly with an onshore/offshore focus.

Nice to have.
Able to evidence proven track of working within a complex, fast paced, retail environment.
Experienced in business case construction, evaluation, review and challenge.
A strong awareness of the relevant IT marketplace including new operating models, emerging technologies, vendor capability and standing.
Knowledge and understanding of IT finance, support, licensing and operating models such as outsourcing.
