Procurement Consultant

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Procurement Consultant to work in their UK offices. The Procurement Consultants role will be to work on offshore windfarm project in the Foundation & Geoscience contract management department. Our client is looking of an individual who will be pro-active in contract management and claim negotiations. To assess/evaluate/negotiate claims which affect the contract commercially (e,g time, price).

The Procurement Consultant will be required to start this role 1st September 2015 up until approx. 28th February 2016 with the possibility of further 6 months extensions. Work pattern: 5 full working days per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement and contract management, preferably from complex construction projects
- Experience with supply or installation of foundation or experience from other wind farm-related procurement and contract management activities would be an advantage
- Knowledge of supply or construction contracts preferably FIDIC and EPC projects
- Experience with collaborating with many stakeholders from other in-house functions, such as engineering, law, finance and OHSE
- Proven record of delivering and managing large business-critical projects successfully
- Structured and analytical approach to work
