Procurement Consultant

A leading NHS organisation based in the East Midlands currently requires an Interim Procurement Consultant for a period of at least 3 months, with the strong potential for extension.

Duties will include leading a comprehensive review of all strategic and operational procurement processes across the organisation and overseeing the procurement aspects of an organisational restructure.

The successful candidate will also be required to manage a multi-million pound procurement budget and will be responsible for making recommendations to the Deputy Director of Finance and other senior colleagues, regarding procurement best practice.

The ideal candidate will be a proven senior interim NHS procurement professional with a demonstrable track record of leading an NHS procurement division through periods of change and improvement. In addition, you should be tenacious and pro-active in your approach. Candidates who are CIPS qualified are preferred for this role.
