Procurement Clerk

We are seeking a Procurement Clerk for a 6 month contract role ( possibility of hire) in Duluth, GA.

We are looking for candidates that are 0-4 max years of professional experience. 

Very strong in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. JD Edwards experience will be strong extra benefit but not specifically required. - When using programs, I would think the breakout would be close to: Excel (60-70%), JD Edwards (10-20%), PowerPoint (10%), and Word (10%)- Bachelor's Degree - Experience is beneficial but recent college graduates also acceptable - None required but experience with any of the following is a plus: the paper/packaging industry, procurement, data management/manipulation- Good communication skills, detail oriented, optimistic, outgoing/"people person", analytically minded, and teamwork focused personality.- Business degree: Finance, General Business, Supply Chain are a plus- Full 40+ hour work week is expected.

Responsibilities :

Assist with category data management while the category manager focuses on the roll out of special projects under the direct materials and manufacturing products & services team. Require assistance with compilation of savings/spend data, trend reporting, and correcting item masters.

Compile and organize spend data submitted by cutting die, blanket, plate, and consumable vendors
Insure correct use of taxonomy and item masters
Trend reporting and graphs
Follow up with plants on internalized manufacturing items
Pareto Analysis Charting
Create and update Gantt charts and timelines according to project progression
Coordinate and update financial analysts on most recent data set
Data roll up and preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews
Monthly compliance reporting
Organization of Ink usage update data for Senior Management and Plant Management communications
Communication and roll-out of changes to plant level and key business constituency groups
Monitor and train on taxonomy code use
Assistance with other categories as needed
