Our Public Sector Health client requires a Procurement Business Partner for an immediate start in Central London.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A background in Public Sector Health
- MCIPS Qualified (or MBA in Supply Chain Management)
- Commercial knowledge of contracting in the public sector
- Extensive knowledge of Public procurement regulations and processes
- Experience leading on high value, complex and strategically important procurement projects and managing Procurement Support resources
- Extensive experience liaising with Senior Management to develop strategic commercial and procurement advice

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- An ability to develop sustained networks with key stakeholders internally and externally in order to develop relationship opportunities and maximise commercial opportunities
- Established procurement as a central requirement for business planning creating and developing pipeline capability
- Must be able to communicate effectively to educate and/advise stakeholders by improving compliance across the business

Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Gain an in depth understanding of Directorate's core business and to advise on the most effective commercial models that can deliver those requirements
- First point of contact for procurement and commercial expertise for the organisation
- To ensure that Directorates follow the Departmental and cross government efficiency measures
- Provide advice on the management of existing agreements/contracts for services, focusing on issue resolution
- Promoting the organisation's procurement policy and best practice
- Provide appropriate benchmarking on costs and advise teams on budgets and projected costs
- Engage with the Pan Government team within PCoE to ensure implementation of the centralisation of the procurement of common good and services
