PROCUREMENT ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bridgewater, NJ

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Understanding of contracts and business, legal & financial terms and conditions including business specific requirements (ie tax, language, government, etc.)
- Ability to understand and interpret requests for contracts, evaluate and analyze costs and data, handle problems, understands business requirements and developed purchasing skills are required.
- Must be capable of working well in team situations and with a variety of internal customers and outside suppliers, as well as internal functional stakeholders.
- Preferred background would be a minimum of Bachelor's degree in business, legal affairs or related discipline or equivalent, and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Paralegal/Legal Research Certificate helpful but not required.
- Must possess technical acuity and have the ability to learn and utilize various computer systems.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Oversees implementation of program plan(s) across functional areas to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Facilitates/leads tracking, negotiation, and completeness and accuracy of contract documentation including Requests for Proposal, Preferred Provider Agreements, Master Services Agreements, work orders and changes in scope in accordance with policies and SOPs.
- Coordinates and follows up on activities between Finance, Legal, Purchasing and Management to ensure that contract negotiations are not delayed.
- Manages and expedites final contract preparation with Legal and supplier including negotiations with suppliers.
- Acts as an intermediary between Legal, business, and suppliers.
- Ensures that contracts are fully executed in a timely manner both internally and externally.
- Analyze multiple data points (vendor usage, spending trends per business) and partner with Procurement to determine future spend strategies.
- Develop tools, training and support on the full P2P process.

- Must be able to effectively lead contract process and work collaboratively both internally and externally.
- Requires excellent time management skills and ability to influence others to keep projects on time.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and a systematic approach to work, with care taken over document and process detail and due regard to confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be a self-starter - have a high degree of personal initiative.
- Ability to adapt and drive changes, begins new tasks, assumes responsibility and makes decisions in line with process.
