Procurement Analyst - IT Contractor Management, Bank, Brussels

Background:

You will join the bank's Procurement Department which is built around Category Managers and Buyers. The objective is to optimise long term business value and ensure effective cost/spend management. You will work on the extension of IT contractors' assignments: validation of the extension need, communication with suppliers (eg. agencies), coordination of stakeholders and contract management activities. It includes contract renewals and termination, maintain and actualise the electronic ordering and procurement databases and systems.  Manage end-to-end activities.

Tasks:

You will join the Cross-Category Sourcing team (CCS), reports to the CCS team manager and will work mainly with IT, Human Resources and Audit divisions at the bank.

Manage operational procurement by executing and completing the order cycle for the extension of contractors such as the collection of necessary data for the termination and extension of standard contracts.

In the context of above tasks, update the procurement systems for agreements, and other HR systems (Peoplesoft, Oracle, recruitment engines); Support the internal client; Manage relationship with suppliers for assigned activities. Coordinate with Category Managers to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies, escalation of issues, etc. 

Maintain relations in the daily activities with internal customers within the bank, users, and suppliers concerning orders and delivery of services.

Apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), report deviations and ensure continuous improvement of operational processes by raising streamlining opportunities to the Process Manager.

SKILLS:

Relevant recruitment/screening experience in procurement or/and IT;

Proficient Oracle/PeopleSoft user - this is mandatory!

Strong negotiation skills;
