Procurement Analyst

DESCRIPTION

- The Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Services Procurement team and reports to the Global Procurement Director (Prof and HR services)
- This analyst position will develop and maintain fact base (spend cube, market analysis, business needs assessment) and perform analytics (bid events, supplier negotiation preparation and analytics and contract management support) related to assigned categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

- Development and Validating Spend. Providing necessary reports in this area to support the Procurement managers.
- Supporting sourcing work
- Perform spend, contract and market analyses for assigned categories.
- Develop and launch bid events, prepare bid analysis.
- Generate materials in support of presentations, workshops and negotiations.
- Provide necessary inputs for agreements and monitor compliance.
- Support some local operational and tactical support like PO creating, invoice reconciliation.
- Managing key activities related to assigned categories
- Edit and management of Contracts
- Prepare Bid Waiver and Bid Record documents to obtain sourcing approvals.
- Resolve and respond to invoice kick-outs.
- SAP work flow management for new items, specifications and pricing.
- Help with reporting
- Fact finding
- Special Projects

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance, Business Admin or Marketing preferred).
- Minimum prior procurement experience 3-5 years or equivalent in procurement.
- Excellent analytical skills, presentation skills, problem solving ability, strategic thinking, drive for results and solid communications skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, some spend management experience
- SAP experience a plus.
- Data mining and Insights preparation.
- Good communication skills, self starter.
- Project execution oriented and great follow-through is needed.
- Experience of working in a global-team environment is a plus.
