Procurement Analyst

The job purpose is to provide support to the Procurement department. Responsibilities will include processing contract renewals, producing management information, supporting project requirements and engagement with cost centre managers.

Key responsibilities:
- Management of contract within own portfolio.
- Issue monthly reports to cost centre managers and reconcile feedback
- Update and maintain contact database and vendor/contract folders
- Work with BAU budget information and understand impact of contract spend
- Assess spend and contracts to identify cost saving opportunities
- Manage requests for quotations and multiple vendor assessments for requirements above £10k
- Manage Procurement inbox and distribute queries to Senior Consultants accordingly
- Manage direct queries from key stakeholders both internal and external, escalating to Senior Consultants where necessary.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- Experience of managing contracts and vendor engagement/management is essential
- Experience of managing a wide range of customers and stakeholders
- Must be able to multi task and prioritise own workload
- Must be able to work accurately with large amounts of data
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Knowledge of MS Excel MS Word is essential & MS Access experience is desirable but not essential
