We are currently looking for a switched on Administrator to support our Procurement Team with a backlog of contracts administration and compliance procedures, during an extremely busy period. You will be carrying out basic supplier engagement/management activities and managing internal relationships.

You will also coordinate specific P2P activities where appropriate and some other responsibilities will include:

- Contributes to procurement plans and projects and makes decisions necessary to purchase products and services in congruence with organisational objectives and category and sourcing strategies.
- Conducts commercial review of procurement requisitions and Statements of Work in accordance with business requirements and budgets for defined procurement exercises, including cost benefit analysis on planned acquisitions, specifications, performance terms, and/or acceptance criteria and contracts
- Researches and assist in selecting potential sources of materials and/or services, including building relationships with suppliers to review samples, measure supplier performance and coordinate enquiries
- Contributes to the preparation of non-complex competitive bids, quotations and proposals with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions
- Plays a supporting role in the evaluation of non-complex competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for a product or service. Assists in analysing proposals in support of the bid evaluation process
- Liaises with user departments and suppliers to ensure product availability, expedite delivery, resolve payment problems and review product pricing information
- Maintains a cost reduction, cost avoidance, cost containment program and reports it via the value database
- Assists in developing financial considerations for purchases
- Complies with all regulatory and AZ requirements relevant to the role, eg Sarbanes Oxley, Code of Conduct, Financial Control Framework
