INTRODUCTION

As a large-scale system integrator, focuses on extensive outsourcing and integration of its supply chain. Approximately 90% of the manufacturing cost price is accounted for by purchased goods. Therefore, high level flexibility must be built into the supplier network. Procurement creates, maintains and qualifies this global network. This enables the execution of the Development, Production and Customer Support plans and operates according to the principles of Value Sourcing. Value sourcing is the optimization of Q(uality), L(ogistics), T(echnology) and C(ost of Goods) throughout the total supply chain.

JOB MISSION

The holder of this position reports to the Global Cluster Manager Non Payroll Procurement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Procurement Account Manager Outsourcing Development & Engineering is responsible for further strengthening and development of Procurement team. He or she acts as a project manager to assure the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals for the management of outsourcing activities and interfaces primarily with Development & Engineering, Research & Development, Industrial Engineering and Product Related Procurement. The Procurement Account Manager Outsourcing Development & Engineering develops and maintains long term relationships with (inter-)national suppliers and leads Supplier Account Teams and Cross functional team. Assures a timely balance between required supply capacity and expected market requirements. Manages overall procurement processes and drives for continuous improvements at the suppliers on value sourcing.

EDUCATION

Master-degree in a relevant area (eg technical study, Technical Business Management combined with Procurement related courses eg NEVI I and II)

EXPERIENCE

7-10 Years of work experience in a professional, complex and international environment. Excellent project manager with proven ability to successfully manage complex projects with a scope across the whole value chain. In-depth understanding of outsourcing in high tech. Analytical, structured, accurate and able to maintain overview, assess priorities and focus on concrete results. Multidisciplinary approach.

PERSONAL SKILLS

Good communicator, very well developed consultancy skills combined with an innovative and result driven can do mentality. Experienced negotiator. Client focused and problem solving team player who creates strong commitment and partnership with internal and external concerned parties.
