Procurement

3-5 years experience as a buyer or senior buyer - this must be a buying role rather than a procurement administration or support role - ideally within a services environment and able to demonstrate understanding of procurement principles and best practices

Proven experience in one of the following categories: property related goods and services (facilities management, refurbishment, construction, furniture, equipment, etc) OR professional services (legal, consulting, training, recruiting, etc) OR transport, logistics and distribution OR technology OR marketing

Excellent stakeholder management

Excellent communication skills oral and written

Problem solving and analysis skills

Excellent understanding of procurement concepts, processes, principles and best practices

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Positive attitude

Organised and good time manager

Ideally experienced in the use of ARIBA or similar e-sourcing tools

Understanding of UK commercial law, ability to understand contractual terms, prepare contracts with support from legal experts
