Process Technician/Operator Job

PROCESS TECHNICIAN/OPERATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WILMINGTON, DE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Working with chemical process equipment:
- Batch and continuous reactors ranging in size from 125ml to 5 gallons.
- Feed, mixing, heating, sampling and environmental protection systems
- Advanced process control and data acquisition systems

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 4-day 10-hour shift available in a chemical process area that operates 5 days per week, 24 hours per day.
- Chemistry: General, Inorganic, Organic
- Basic Unit Operations: Distillation, Heat Exchange, Mixing, Reactions
- Process Control & Instrumentation
- Basic analytical familiarity
- Basic skill for reading and understanding "Process and Instrument Drawing" (P&ID)

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in semi-works, pilot-scale operations, chemical plant or a refinery production facility
- Experience with high-pressure reactions
- Experience with HF, Cl2, HCl, SF4, HCN, H2 SO4, Hydrogen, TFE
