For our client in the manufacturing industry we are looking for a PROCESS TEAM LEAD PLM

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Location: Venlo

The department Planning and Processes comprises the Project Management Office (PMO), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Partnerships & Subsidies, and R&D Business Intelligence (BI).

PMO is responsible for developing and embedding standards and tooling for project management in the R&D organization, and has an active role in the execution of the project program. The PLM team is responsible for setting up and maintaining the documentation structure of our products and developing processes and tooling to support this. BI provides frequent and relevant Business information to customers in R&D and other parts of the organization.

Within this department we are looking for a PROCESS TEAM LEAD (PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT)

In the accelerating world of R&D, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management II (CM II) have gained an important role to enable and document rapid product development and improvements.

THE ROLE - You will be introducing a new and global aligned PLM system partly based on CM II best practices. With the introduction of the system, he/she will ensure process alignment between various sites on a global level, to have the same working methods in the final state. Candidate will lead a team of five (multidisciplinary) process leads on alignment of processes such that requirements for IT can be made. In addition the team will perform the testing of the new system. He/she also contributes by bringing in expertise on configuration management and product life cycle management processes.

An open mindset, strong communication skills and inspiring attitude will enable to successfully influence and convince R&D, Machines & Logistics and Business Unit stakeholders to align and deploy working methods.

Being part of the R
- Approximately 5 years of work experience, preferably in the process of releasing products from an R
- Team player with pro-active, hands-on and a pragmatic attitude and strong problem solving skills Quick learner with organization sensitivity;
- Seeing the fun in overcoming differences between different entities in the company;
- Excellent communication, presentation and social skills in both English and Dutch, German is a plus;
- PLM expertise and experience and CM II certifications;
- Proven track record in managing project groups, knowledge of Prince 2 is a plus;
- Willing to travel occasionally.
