PROCESS SPECIALIST (FINANCIAL CRIME PREVENTION) MANCHESTER

ROLE PURPOSE:
. Ensure Financial Crime Prevention processes are documented, communicated, maintained, managed and continuously reviewed

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY (KEY DELIVERABLES):

. Creates, owns and maintains central repository of process documentation for Financial Crime Prevention to ensure that there is an accurate, up-to-date, compliant and easily understandable process documentation at all times.
. Work with Operational Managers to ensure processes are effective and clearly understood by all within FCP
. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in IS Change and Customer Operations in order to ensure smooth implementation of process changes and best practice in FCP
. Involvement in FCP process and change governance processes, providing constructive support and challenge to influence the change agenda and delivery priorities.
. Work with the Financial Crime Risk Management team to ensure that identified risks, where appropriate, are linked to processes and that controls are captured on process maps. Ensure that RCSA documentation accurately reflects current processes.

CONDUCT RISK

. Maintain a good understanding of Conduct Risk requirements relevant to the role, ensuring compliance and that due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly.
. Ensure Conduct Risk requirements are fully reflected in Performance Development objectives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

. Experienced in documenting processes and balancing the need for a defined consistent methodology (eg BPMN) with the need for users to easily understand the information
. Experienced in process improvement, ideally Lean 6-Sigma trained to Green Belt or above
. Experience in, or exposure to, financial crime risk management in a banking or regulated environment . Can demonstrate a practical hands-on approach and a desire to go and see the process in action where the work is done (ie goes to 'Gemba' to see the process first hand)
. Understands how to balance the need for central control of process documentation with local process ownership
. Able to challenge stakeholders when appropriate
. Able to provide documentation both technical and customer/stakeholder oriented, translating complex data into business oriented and outcome focussed communications
. Sound planning and scheduling skills
. Demonstrable experience of building relationships and influence without necessarily having control
. Ability to step back and see the "big picture" of the function and how it links with other areas Recruitment Zone acting as an employment business in regard to this advert.
