One of our clients, a multinational pharmaceutical company, currently requires a Process Improvement Manager.

Location: South of Brussels
Duration: 18 months min.
Start date: ASAP

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
The Process Improvement Manager initiates, drives, coordinates and supports process improvements for the Immunotherapeutics Clinical Project Deliveryensure effective sharing of knowledge and progress
* Ensure developed solutions are in alignment from a Quality and Risk Management perspective
* Ensure effective rollout and implementation of initiatives
* Provide relevant training and communication to members of the clinical operations team of process improvement initiatives where relevant and provide coaching depending on expertise
* Ensure adequate use of ITx resources in initiatives lead by other departments. Ensure objectives to deliver for the ITx business are clear to them and FU regularly progress
* Interface with other process improvement teams, give visibility to ITx initiatives and share know-how, key experience, and learnings
* Ensure a standard of excellence in management of initiatives
* Provide expert advice, support and OE (Operational Excellence) tools/methodologies for initiatives
* Ensure delivery of benefits from initiatives as defined in project initiation forms (PIF)
* Lead, support or facilitate specific ITx clinical process improvement initiatives that have a global impact and will deliver significant benefits across the department
* Ensure delivery of benefits versus plan
* Deploy OE mindset in the Clin Ops team
* Communicate effectively on the process improvement program
* Develop and enhance a culture to do things simpler, smarter, quicker and in a robust, reproducible way
* Network with other OE champions/experts to exchange learning and good practices
* Lead the identification and assessment of best practices and oversee the implementation of these into ITx processes
* Analyse and improve key interfaces processes between ITx and its business partners

PREREQUISITES

Education:
Scientific degree

Knowledge:

* Good knowledge and understanding of the Global Study Management roles and activities
* Good knowledge of Clinical Development business, procedures and requirements to successfully deliver clinical studies
* Good knowledge of business processes (central and local), having been close to the field is a strong asset
* Proficient in audit processes and procedures, including consultation on audit-related activities
* Quality mindset, critical sense, attention to details
* Manages change positively, and sees change as an opportunity to improve processes & tools
* Excellent knowledge of written & spoken English, knowledge of French is an asset
* Good communication and adaptability skills
* Good project management skills
* Result oriented, naturally driven by customer & performance benchmarking and metrics

Experience:

* 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical Industry, with a minimum of 4 years within Clinical or related functions (experience in the Global Study Management role is a significant asset)
* Significant experience in process design or operations
* Change management experience
* Fundamental understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and other applicable regulations
* Understanding of overall working of the Pharmaceutical Industry
* An experience in Oncology is clearly a plus
