PROCESS ANALYST SPECIALIST - BLACK BELT CERTIFIED

DURATION:  3-month contract (W2)

LOCATION:  Aurora, CO  80014

CLIENT:  One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Position performs analysis/evaluation of business and/or system processes
- Also includes activities such as: functional requirements, development of business processes, client support during system development, implementation
- Develop relationships with up- and downstream business partners, develops/maintains and changes business processes, and understands the business needs of assigned partners and how they relate to our functional areas
- Develops and recommends changes to business processes
- Influences multiple cross-functional and/or multiple cross divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system/process specifications
- Knowledge of Health Admin platforms of the assigned functional areas and multiple cross-functionality based on assignment
- Provides subject matter expertise to cross-divisional, common business areas
- Make recommendations regarding business strategy and policy development

TRAVEL:

- Limited; perhaps 10%

STANDARD WORK HOURS:

- Day shift, 40 hours, with occasional overtime (perhaps 10%)

REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or similarly relevant discipline
- Black Belt Certification
- 5+ years in an Analyst Role; may include three or more years as a consultant
- 5+ years' experience in Healthcare Administration (this is required; candidates without it will be rejected)
- MS Office, Visio, SharePoint skills
- Process analysis, mapping and design
- Interview skills and related analysis techniques

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE):

- EPIC Background or Certification
