Process Engineer Job

PROCESS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in MEMPHIS, TN.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Process Engineering experience in Medical Device, Bio-Tech, FDA, GMP or regulated industry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for providing manufacturing engineering services to support cellular manufacturing and timely new product introductions.
- Engineering services include process development, cell management, tool design, and CNC programming.
- Conducting feasibility study to estimate product cost and analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements affecting the make versus buy decision.
- Establishing process methods which meet performance and quality requirements.
- Establishing preliminary bill of materials and Routers.
- Developing a wide a variety of applications, including machining, finishing, forging, casting, and molding.
- Sorting through options choosing the most appropriate processes and machining methods.
- Negotiating target completion dates with appropriate personnel from other departments.
- Developing project plans and schedules for work activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Engineering with two (2) years industry experience in medical device; four (4) years industry experience in process/mechanical/industrial engineering role.
- Six sigma or lean methodology preferred.
- Experience in engineering services including process development, cell management, tool design, and CNC programming.
- Experience conducting feasibility study to estimate product cost and analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements affecting the make versus buy decision.
- Experience establishing process methods which meet performance/quality requirements while establishing preliminary bill of materials and Routers.
- Experience developing a wide a variety of applications, including machining, finishing, forging, casting, molding and identifying a variety of options and quickly choosing the most appropriate processes and machining methods
