Process Engineer Job

PROCESS ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SWIFTWATER PA.

- Process Engineer in the Pharmaceutical industry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide Process and leadership expertise as well as technical support for the development or process modifications to the existing licensed flu manufacturing processes, new bacterial vaccine processes and Form and Fill.
- Interface with the scientific platforms and development teams performing process definition and development studies and provide input on scale-down studies, technology selection and sizing criteria.
- Develop process definition documentation including but not limited to, process description, blow flow diagram, process flow diagram, mass balance and user requirement specifications.
- Floor support includes shop floor support for equipment processes or modifications within the production environment and the ability to provide direction to manufacturing staff operating the process equipment.
- Support new equipment testing (FAT, AT etc.).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or related field with 3+ years or Ph.D. with more than five (5) years of applicable experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Must have experience in design of experiments and demonstrated ability in formulation/process development, scale-up, clinical manufacturing and technology transfer activities for pharmaceutical products such as oral solids, liquid, topical and parenteral dosage forms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process validation.
- Experience with PAT desirable.
- Working knowledge of cGMPs.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are necessary and supervisory ability is desirable.
