Process Engineer II Associate Job

PROCESS ENGINEER II needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Elkton, VA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Equipment Maintenance Support
- Lean Six Sigma Methodologies

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide on-the-floor process support of day-to-day manufacturing operations in a GMP environment.
- Support material movement, dispensing, process monitoring, equipment cleaning and sterilization.
- Responsible for completion of GMP documentation.
- Monitor process performance, aid in investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop standard work and assist in troubleshooting.
- Support equipment qualification and process validation activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS degree in Science, Life Science, Or Engineering.
- Two to four (2 - 4) years' experience in a position supporting a manufacturing process.
- Experience with a GMP (good manufacturing practices) manufacturing process.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in bioprocess, vaccine, or sterile manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with SAP and/or Trackwise.
- Experience in a Mechanical Engineer role, supporting equipment maintenance.
- Please note: This position will require various shift work schedules during the assignment depending on the production schedule.
