Process Engineer - I (Assistant)

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a PROCESS ENGINEER - I (ASSISTANT) to join our client, the world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Elkton, VA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Day-to-day execution of manufacturing operations in a GMP environment.
- Material movement, dispensing, process monitoring, equipment cleaning and sterilization.
- Complete GMP documentation.
- Monitor process performance, aiding in investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions, developing standard work, and assisting in troubleshooting.
- Support equipment qualification and process validation activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S or B.A degree in science, life science, or engineering.
- Zero to two (0 - 2) years of experience in a position supporting a manufacturing process.
- Experience with a GMP (good manufacturing practices) process.
- Experience in bioprocess, vaccine, or sterile manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with SAP and/or Trackwise.
