BACKGROUND:
My client is an international bank based in Brussels.
They are undergoing an enterprise-wide business transformation process and reviewing management processes, using LEAN principles.
Essential for the success of these transformations is the sustainability of any changes:
LEAN will only succeed if it is adopted by the staff at the bank and has long-term impact by fundamentally changing the culture of the organisation. In that context the transformation team is currently looking for a process engineer/business analyst.
TASKS/SKILLS:
Gather information on the current state of the processes;
Identify weaknesses and possible improvements in close cooperation with the key stakeholders;
Build a business case (benefits, budget, timing, sourcing, etc.)
Lead the implementation using LEAN principles.
Previous experience in transformation projects, LEAN and/or Six Sigma is a must.
Ideally you will have worked previously in investment banking, asset management, custody, settlement, banking or at an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary eg. Euroclear or Clearstream).
Language: English (essential) plus French or Dutch (not essential but nice to have)
