PROCESS ENGINEER/BEERSE, BELGIUM/6 MONTHS CONTRACT/32 TO 53 EUR (PER HOUR)
THE ROLE OF PROCESS ENGINEER:
To map out the landscape of instruments (pipetting robots, analysis tools), the instrument software and custom developed software (Labview), the screen process (input and process output) and associated components according to the 'to be' situation. The solutions on which Automation Lab currently works, plus vision IT. In other words, the operation and configuration of the park of instruments and apps should be studied (manuals, vendor and business).
The process engineer will, in collaboration with business and with the help of an IT employee, display the layouts and operations in schedules, technical documentation (by screen or per instrument) and make recommendations where necessary.
Simultaneously with the study work, Automation Lab needs support to conduct initial testing and to consult findings with business partner Automation Lab.
Complements together with the configuration log and product backlog (functional specs), the set of documentation in function of Plan A.
Is a reference work for the implementation of screens and troubleshooting at end user operations.
Documentation, schedules, etc. are the raw materials for consultation with Janssen IT Architects in function of Plan B.
- On the ground Support for project (someone who can be dedicated to project - and not get side-tracked by Pharm Sci work)
- Co-ordinate activities with Vendor
- Co-ordinate activities with IT
- Define Interfaces/communication protocols
- Initial informal testing of development/communication/system
- Support Troubleshooting of issues
- Technical support for Validation
- Support for SBS in ensuring output can integrated into Integrated Data Management System
- Documentation writing, system life cycle management document
