Process Engineer

Our client, a pharmaceutical organisation based in the Netherlands, is looking for a Process Engineer to support works on site.

The Process Engineer defines production and working methods, so that these can be executed in an efficient and safe manner. The ideal candidate is responsible for feasibility studies and concept designs, including the generation of PFDs, PIDs and URSs and for protection of the design intent during the execution stages of the project. The Process Engineer is responsible for operating instructions, protocols and test plans during commissioning and qualification. Participation in project teams with the aim to identify and introduce improvements. As a subject matter expert, to safeguard compliance with regards to GMP as well as SHE regulations and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct feasibility studies: execute problem analyses, determine possible solutions, analyse technical and financial feasibility, determine scope in consultation with customer.
- Define conceptual/basic design based on process engineering calculations and input of the customer: develop process simulations, equipment dimensioning and draw up PFDs/PIDs, generate process book/complex URS (user requirement specifications).
- Participate in or head up project groups for implementing process and equipment improvements.
- Provide reviewsgo-see attitude.
- Experience in carrying out multi-disciplinary projects.
