Process Engineer

A sustainable engineering and design consultancy, that specialises in complex infrastructure, process and built environments, currently requires a Process Engineer for a contract role based in Central London.

Project Scope:

. Working within the Process engineering team the candidate will be accountable for supporting a large scale consumer health project.
. New build project (£60 -70 million).
. Currently in Front End design stage.

Key Responsibilities:

. Support the team with carrying out Front End feasibility studies: Problem analysis, solution options, technical and financial feasibility analysis, defining scope in conjunction with consumer client.
. Support team with Conceptual Design, based on process calculations: Process simulations, equipment sizing, preparation of PFD s/PIDs, process-book/URS. (user requirement spec)
. At a later stage, assistance with start up and qualification of equipment: Development of protocols and test plans and monitoring implementation, processing of results.
. Support any potential process changes/improvements.
. Work within a cross-functional project Matrix organisation.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

. Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent industry experience.
. At least 5 years experience working within a consumer health manufacturing environment to include; Oitments, Creams etc.
. Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
. Extensive technical and practical experience in process engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
. Competent user of MSOffice and other relevant process engineering software.
. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
