Process Engineer

Yoh has a 12 month contract opportunity for a PROCESS ENGINEER to join our client in Warrensville Heights, OH.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gather and analyze process data to inform data-driven decision making.
- Rigorous assessment and improvement approach to measurement systems, process capability, and process yield.
- Improve quality and productivity through the use of Six Sigma and Lean tools.
- Drive improved product quality and compliance by addressing manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and executing production implementation.
- Support effective root cause analysis and problem solving to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
- Drive continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. Degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Three (3+) years of industrial experience in engineering.
- Demonstrated planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to identify and implement Best Practices.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Two (2+) years of experience in refractory materials and/or high temperature processing including any of the following: powder metallurgy, pressing, sintering, forging, stress relief/annealing, friction welding, brazing, plasma coating, component cleaning/washing, inspection/measurement/testing.
- Five (5+) years of industrial experience in engineering and/or process intensive manufacturing.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean certified.
- Solid working knowledge of compliance frameworks and GMP.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
